ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response.  You wear headphones and watch an ASMRtist, the creator of the ASMR video, as they tap, scratch, brush, whisper, eat, etc.  These things are called ‘triggers’ and the response you receive from them is almost like a shiver.  In the ASMR community, this reaction is called a ‘tingle’.  ASMR is meant to help you fall asleep and/or relax.  You could even listen to it while doing your homework so you don’t get too distracted by music or other outside noises.  Not many people used to know about ASMR, but it has grown quite popular lately.  Although some people say that ASMR is sexual, it is not!  The videos are not intended for sexual use, only relaxation and sleep!

The main place ASMR videos are found is on YouTube, but there is also an app called the Tingles app.  Some of the  ASMRtists I recommend are:
