Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost
I want to feel the bursting light of a million stars cascading across my skin, let’s retrace the constellations with our bare hands and reform the legends, unlearn the lessons they said would serve us well- serves them right. We are wayward stars, lost in dazzling light. Let’s surrender to our wanderlust tonight, let’s seek our truths and let our souls take flight. We were born wild and that was something they couldn’t take away; our freedom lay in wishing for wings and singing the songs they wanted us to forget, the words they said shouldn’t pass our lips. It was triumph to feel that ache and still know we were going to make it. You see, you can try to break us but we are made of stardust and tangible tenacity. We’ll be dancing wildly amidst stars and unraveling the mysteries of the universe in our curious minds. We are the kind of people you should know by now aren’t going anywhere.
